ABOUT OUR GOODS

All items sold are vintage or antique, handmade and individually unique. Accordingly, wear, patina, and small imperfections are natural and part of the item’s character, they do not constitute defects.

An item is considered an antique if it is over 100 years old. Antiques typically reflect the materials, craftsmanship, and design styles of their period of origin and may show signs of age, wear, or restoration consistent with their history and use.

An item is described as vintage if it is not new and was produced in an earlier era, typically at least 20 years old, but not old enough to be classified as an antique. Vintage items often represent the style or character of their time and may display age-related wear or imperfections.

PRICING AND PAYMENT

All prices on the Lavinia Frame website are given in New Zealand Dollars, inclusive of GST and exclusive of delivery costs.

We accept payment by direct transfer, details of which will be provided on your invoice.

If your item is shipped overseas, Lavinia Frame has no control over any customs or import duties that could be levied when the package reaches your destination country and for which you will be liable.

RETURNS

We do not generally accept returns where you have simply changed your mind. However, returns may be considered where the goods fail to meet the guarantees provided under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA). Any request for a refund or other remedy must be submitted in writing within seven (7) days of receiving your item, or within a reasonable timeframe if the issue or fault was not immediately apparent.

CONTENT ACCURACY

We take utmost care to ensure that product descriptions and specifications are accurate at the time they are published. While we aim to represent product colours as closely as possible, we cannot guarantee exact colour accuracy, as variations may occur due to differences in browser software, screen settings, or computer systems.

All prices shown on the website are current at the time of display and may change without notice. Although we make every effort to ensure that descriptions and pricing are accurate, we cannot guarantee that the website is completely free from errors. LF will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on the information provided on this website or in relation to any products listed.

Shipping & Delivery

Shipping can be arranged on request at additional cost based on destination and the size and weight of your item. Delivery within Auckland can also be arranged.
